Iraq gov. ramps up efforts to answer protestor demands

The Iraqi government is ramping up efforts to contain protests in the country’s southern provinces. Cabinet members and local officials have held their first meeting on implementation of the directives issued by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in response to the protests.
