US untrustworthy, any negotiations useless, pundit says
Iran will not trust the United States in any future agreement due to the fact that Washington does not abide by its commitments, says an academic.
“There is now consensus that speaking with Americans is absolutely useless,” Mohammad Marandi, professor at University of Tehran, told Press TV on Saturday.
“We will not be able to trust the United States upon signing any agreement in future,” Marandi said.
According to the professor, the only way forward for the Iranians is to strengthen their ties with global and regional partners.
