Iranian archer collects silver medal in 2018 Asia Cup-World Ranking Tournament, Stage III

Iranian archer Esmaeil Ebadi has shown dazzling performances at the 2018 Asia Cup-World Ranking Tournament, Stage III in Chinese Taipei, and managed to snatch a silver medal at the event.

On Tuesday, the 41-year-old Iranian athlete competed in the men's individual compound section at the Taipei Stadium, and defeated an opponent from Vietnam by 147 points to 143 in his first meet.

He narrowly defeated a contestant from India 147-146 in the next match, before triumphing over a rival from Hong Kong 145-143 and securing a spot in the finale.

Ebadi, however, lost to a representative from South Korea 144-149 in the title challenge and finished second.

The 2018 Asia Cup-World Ranking Tournament, Stage III kicked off on July 9, and will run through July 12, 2018.
