Israel,Palestine----US, EU ,Tariffs

ALLIES AT WAR The United States has finally followed through on its threat to impose tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from its biggest trading partners. The decision was announced after officials from both sides of the Atlantic failed to reach an agreement before a Friday deadline. The U.S. is now imposing a 25% tax on steel and a 10% tax on aluminum imports from the European Union, Mexico and Canada. The decision has drawn angry reactions and vows of retaliation from targeted countries. THREAT TO ‘DESTROY GAZA’ Following the recent flare up of violence between Israel and the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the regime and resistance movement Hamas have reached a deal to return to the 2014 post-war ceasefire. But even as the Egyptian-brokered ceasefire was being discussed, a senior Israeli minister, the minister of energy called for the total destruction of Gaza. Yuval Steinitz has been quoted as saying that he does not rule out the possibility of conquering Gaza and destroying it once and for all.
