USS Vincennes 1988 Massacre
In this edition of The Debate, Press TV interviews Scott Bennett, former U.S. army psychological warfare officer from San Francisco and Brent Budowsky, a columnist with The Hill from Washington on the downing of Iranian Airbus passenger plane in 1988 by the USS Vincennes.
The interviewees debated whether it was an accidental shooting, as Budowsky claimed, or a planned attack, as Bennett said, to side U.S. with Saddam Hussain of Iraq to drag Iran into war with the U.S. for regime change in Iran.
