Crisis in Yemen Once known as happy Arabia, Yemen is now reduced to rubble and ruins as a result of Saudi Arabias indiscriminate bombings of the country which has been raging on since March 2015. The kingdom has ever since imposed a blockade on its southern neighbor leaving some 20 million people facing a humanitarian crisis. The blockade, which has nearly exhausted the countrys dwindling supplies of fuel and food, has been causing Yemenis to die of starvation. Anger at Israel Israels notoriety is expanding over its continuous deadly crackdown on Palestinians. For the first time in Spain, the parliament of one of the countrys states has voted to endorse the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement that pushes for banning Israeli made products as a way of punishing Tel Aviv. The vote last month by the Parliament of the Chartered Community of Navarre in Spains north was passed thanks to support by representatives of all the parties represented in parliament except the center-right Popular Party which is pro-Israel.
