US quits UN Human Rights Council over “anti-Israel bias”

US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley announced that the US is withdrawing from the UN Human Rights Council. The announcement comes following the Council's vote last month to probe killings of Palestinian protesters in Gaza. The US administration under Trump has been pushing the body to end scrutinizing Israel’s human rights abuses against Palestinians.
