Soccer-Chechen fans bring smile to Salah's face with 100kg cake
Mohamed Salah was greeted by a birthday cake in colors of Egyptian national flag as he and his team arrived at Grozny team hotel in Russia's Chechnya after 1-0 World Cup loss to Uruguay.
Salah who turned 26 on June 15 stayed on the bench during the game in Yekaterinburg because his coach did not want to risk him. The 100-kilogram cake decorated with a golden boot to celebrate Salah's Premier League Golden Boot award was a present from Chechnya fans.
