Lebanon continues attempts to form new govt.

Following its May 6 parliamentary elections that saw Prime Minister Sa'ad Hariri reappointed for the third time, Lebanon is still without a government. This week, Hariri presented President Michel Aoun a preliminary proposal to form a board-based 30-member cabinet. However, negotiations continue without a breakthrough.
