A peaceless world

We’re living in a less peaceful world today than we were just a decade ago. A report by the Institute for Economics and Peace says there’s been a gradual decline in peacefulness over the past decade; the reasons for the decline reveal a world filled with tensions, conflicts, and crises which emerged in the last decade and still remain unresolved. The least peaceful countries in the world were Syria, South Sudan and Iraq.

Netanyahu’s European mission

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was on a mission to Europe this week. He apparently could not keep Iran out of his mind as he visited three European capitals. The Israeli premier pushed hard to get European leaders on board to mount pressure on Tehran. Analysts say Netanyahu’s trip was aimed at persuading major European countries Germany, France and Britain to fully back US President Donald Trump’s policies towards Tehran.
