Israeli atrocities

Israel has been known throughout the world for its brutality and aggression against Palestinians. But the regime’s recent use of fatal force against unarmed Palestinian protesters in the besieged Gaza Strip has caused fury among rights groups. Israeli forces shot dead scores of Palestinians on the same day the US moved its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds. The United Nations has condemned Israel for using ‘wholly disproportionate’ force against Palestinian demonstrators.

US warns Syria

The United States is warning Syria of what it calls “firm and appropriate measures” in response to alleged ceasefire violations by Syrian troops. The US says it’s concerned about reports of an impending military operation in a de-escalation zone in Syria‘s southwest. The reports say the Syria army is closing in on the province of Dara'a after dislodging militants from the periphery of the capital Damascus. Syrian media have said the country’s air force has dropped leaflets on militant-held areas in the region demanding they lay down their arms.
