Iranian high jumper Ghanbarzadeh snatches silver in Sparkassen Gala 2018
Iranian athlete Keyvan Ghanbarzadeh has been awarded a silver medal at the Sparkassen Gala 2018 in Germany.
The 28-year-old sportsman took part in men's high jump competitions at the Regensburg University Stadium in the southeastern German city of Regensburg on Monday, and recorded 2.15 meters to take the second place.
German high jumper Tobias Potye clinched the gold medal by registering 2.27 meters in the final contest.
Another contestant from the host nation took the bronze with 2.06 meters.
The Sparkassen Gala 2018 was held on June 3, 2018.
