Iranian Army fighter jet crashes in central Isfahan province

An F-7 fighter jet of the Iranian Air Force has crashed in the central province of Isfahan.

"This fighter crashed due to technical problems in Jarqavieh district in Isfahan while on a training flight," an informed source at the General Staff of the Armed Forces told IRNA on Saturday.

He said the two pilots of the jet safely ejected before it came down in a desert area, adding that they were taken to a hospital in Isfahan.

According to reports, the wreckage of the jet has been found.
