Hezbollah's big win

The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah and its allies have scored a major victory in the country’s first parliamentary elections in 9 years. They won 67 of the 128 parliamentary seats during Sunday’s vote.  The resistance movement now has more power in Lebanon’s legislative body and in its political arena. Hezbollah’s Secretary General, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah has called the results of the vote a political and moral victory for the anti-Israel resistance.

Saudi 'reforms'

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is practically in charge of the kingdom’s most important affairs. From top level military decision-makings to social policy, the young crown prince seems to have the final say in everything. He was catapulted into senior posts when his father, King Salman took power in 2015. He’s portraying himself as a social reformist who wants to modernize the kingdom. But rights groups say the changes are not genuine and are actually an attempt to appease the West.
