Rare silk Quran on display in Afghanistan

Afghan artists have completed work on a Quran made from silk fabric. A team of calligraphers and miniature painters have worked on each page of the holy book. Its creators hope the feat will help preserve the Afghanistan’s centuries-old tradition of calligraphy and illumination.
