These are the headlines we are tracking for you in this episode of On the News Line:

Royal wedding

The Western mainstream media gave full coverage to the royal wedding in Britain. The gala itself was magnificent. But the glamorous façade and the media hype could not hide the fact that not all people in Britain feel the same about the wedding. No to UN probe in Gaza

Tel Aviv says it won’t cooperate with the UN Human Rights Council over the Gaza killings. The UN’s human rights body called on the council to “urgently dispatch an independent, international commission of inquiry” after tens of Palestinians were killed while protesting against the U.S. embassy move to Jerusalem al-Quds. Israel rejected the decision, saying the council had “an automatic anti-Israel majority, where hypocrisy and the absurd held sway.” This is not the first time Tel Aviv has lashed out at a human rights body.
