The UN secretary general is deeply concerned by US President Donald Trump's decision to pull his country out of the Iran nuclear deal, according to his spokesperson Stephane Dujarric at a press briefing in New York City on Tuesday.

"The Secretary General is deeply concerned by today's announcement that the United States will be withdrawing from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, and will begin reinstating US sanctions," said Dujarric.
