Explosive anti-terror drill conducted at Luebeck train station

An anti-terror drill was held at Luebeck's central station in Germany on Tuesday night.

Almost 700 officers from the federal police and the state police, as well as 120 firefighters and rescue teams worked together at the facility to respond to the mock attack, according to reports.

In the first part of the drill, three men opened fire on travelers waiting for a train, killing some of them. Federal police and special forces were mobilized to disarm the terrorists and bring the situation under control.

Fire brigades and special forces were involved in the second part of the drill: special forces killed the terrorists, and together with firefighters secured civilians.
