New survey shows Italians oppose military intervention in Syria

A survey by an authoritative Italian think-tank has found that most Italians approve the government’s decision not to join the US-led airstrikes on Syria early this month. Many in Italy believe that allegations of a chemical attack on Syria's Eastern Ghouta by the Syrian army were only a pretext for airstrikes on Syrian government forces. Our Rome correspondent Max Civili reports.
