Water shortage is quickly becoming one of the main concerns of the international community. Such is the shortage that many are beginning to call it ‘blue gold.’ The United Nations says more than 2 billion people don’t have access to safe drinking water. Changing climate patterns have given speed to this latest crisis. Take South Africa for instance, the city of Cape Town has witnessed a three-year drought. Residents of the city fear the worst, a day dubbed ‘Day Zero.’
