Israel claim to probe Palestinian deaths nonsense: Activist

A pro-Palestinian activist says claims by the Israeli regime that it would investigate the killing of Gazan protesters during recent protests are “nonsense.”

“It is the Israeli policies that are causing people to die in Gaza and elsewhere; so, this [Israeli investigation] is nonsense,” Paul Larudee told Press TV on Saturday.

He said the investigation — even if it is conducted — will lead to no meaningful results.

The Palestinian ambassador to the UN on Friday called on the world body to set up an independent commission to investigate Israeli crimes after four more Palestinians were killed in the besieged Gaza Strip.
