Five killed after minibus collides with train in Crimea

Five people died and a further three were injured after a minibus collided with a train at a rail crossing near the Crimean town of Armyansk, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) has said, as cited in media reports.

Other reports, citing local police officers, say seven people were injured, two of them critically. The train did not derail and none of the passengers on board were injured. A legal case has been opened, with the causes behind the incident now subject to investigation.
