Trump picks Bolton as his new national security adviser

US President Donald Trump has picked John Bolton as his new national security advisor. Bolton is one of the main architects of the 2003 Iraq war and is known for his hawkish stance against Iran and North Korea. The controversial appointment has sparked media speculations about the direction US foreign policy is likely to take in the coming months.
