Turkish sources say French troops stationed in Syria’s Kurdish-held regions

The French military is reportedly increasing its presence in northern Syria. Turkish sources say French troops have been stationed in areas held by Kurdish militants. Meanwhile, Kurdish officials claim French President Emmanuel Macron has assured them of France’s support and commitment to sending more troops to the region. As our correspondent Rahshan Saglam reports Macron’s offer has angered Turkish officials.
