Celebrating Nowruz; How Iranians prepare for new year

Everyone is out and about doing their last minute shopping, buying new clothes and the things they need for the Haft seen table. It’s a special occasion and so up next we’re going to tell you more about our Nowruz celebration and how we prepare for this happy and blissful event.

Natanz Museums; Leafing through the pages of history

Many of our Nowruz celebrations are rooted in our ancient customs and traditions, some of them going back to more than thousands of years ago.

Now while some of our traditions are still reflected in our modern lifestyle, many are preserved in museums around the country. In our next feature, we’re going to and pay a visit to some of the museums located in the city of Natanz, in the Isfahan Province.

The Qashqai People; The Nomadic life

During the Nowruz celebrations we love to connect more with nature, so we tend to buy flowers and plants as they bring joy and happiness to our homes. For us, they stand for life and rebirth and so we buy more of them for this special festivity.
Now talking about nature, our next feature is about some very special people in Iran who have a deep respect and connection with nature. People who have spend all their life in nature, living through the seasons, migrating between summer and winter pastures.
