Iranian cyclist snatches gold at 7th Para Asian Track Championships
Iranian para-cyclist Mehdi Mohammadi has featured great race readiness and admirable physical performance at the 7th edition of Para Asian Track Championships in Malaysia, and took home the gold medal.
Mohammadi competed against his rivals in the individual pursuit C4-C5 event of the tournament in the Malaysian capital city of Kuala Lumpur, and stood on top of the podium, the Islamic Republic of Iran National Paralympic Committee (IRINPC) website reported.
Alireza Ghasemi and Bahram Soleimani, the other two Iranian para-cyclists, came sixth and seventh and failed to find a place among the top four athletes.
The 7th edition of Para Asian Track Championships began on February 16, and will finish on February 20, 2018.
