An analyst believes the international community is being “hypocritical” over Palestine, adding that it has failed to denounce Israeli atrocities against Palestinians.
“We do not see Nikki Haley, US ambassador to the UN sitting at the UN crying for Palestinian children, the international community has taken a very hypocritical stance, we only hear about taking action when it comes to a country or nation that the United States or NATO wants to topple or wants to change the president or leader of that country or policies of that country. We never hear about the apartheid system that we in the West have put in place in Palestine where children and teens are left to defend their homes,” Mnar Muhawesh, editor-in-chief of MintPress News, told Press TV in an interview on Saturday.
“The Palestinian children have become the icons of resistance around the world because they are left alone to defend their homes from these armed men and it is about time that we stand up, we stop crying crocodile tears for what is happening in Palestine,” she added.
