Iran rolls into 2018 Men's Indoor Hockey World Cup semi-finals
The Iran men's national field hockey team has earned a spot in the semi-finals of the 2018 Men's Indoor Hockey World Cup in Germany, after it could overcome the Czech squad in a fairly competitive match.
The Iranian outfit defeated the Czech Republic men's national field hockey team 4-3 in a penalty shootout after both teams were tied two-all in regulation on Saturday.
The Iran men's national field hockey team will face Germany in the semi-finals later in the day.
The 2018 Men's Indoor Hockey World Cup, which is the fifth edition of the tournament, kicked off in Berlin, Germany, on February 7, and will wrap up on February 11.
