A political commentator believes the reason why the United States is maintaining its military presence in Syria is to implement Israel’s plan for the balkanization of the Middle East.

“Well the war in Syria is more of an invasion. To put it into perspective, you have got to look at Israel, you have to look at Oded Yinon’s Plan for the Middle East (the plan to balkanize the Middle East) and put Syria in context with that plan … and you have got to look at who controls the US foreign policy. All US politicians follow the rules of AIPAC and they all support the state of Israel and really when you look at what is going on in Syria, it supports the interests of the state of Israel more than any other state,” Max Igan told PressTV in an interview on Monday.
