Iranian referees to officiate at 2018 Asian Men's Handball Championship

Iranian referees Majid Kolahdouzan and Alireza Mousavian will officiate at the upcoming 2018 Asian Men's Handball Championship in South Korea.

The Asian Handball Federation (AHF), in a letter addressed to the two Iranian men, officially invited them to referee at the continental sporting event.

During the official draw conducted on September 13, 2017, the national Iranian men’s handball team was put in Group A of the preliminary round of the 2018 Asian Men's Handball Championship, and joined squads from Iraq and Japan.

Australia, Bahrain, Oman and Uzbekistan form Group B in the forthcoming tournament.

Group C consists of Bangladesh, India, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates.

China, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are in Group D.

The 2018 Asian Men's Handball Championship, which will be the 18thedition of the event, will kick off on January 18, and will wrap up on January 28.
