Pakistani scholars reject links between extremists, Islam

Nearly 2000 Pakistani scholars have issued a statement to denounce such extremist and Takfiri groups as Daesh. The religious leaders have firmly rejected any links between the terror groups and Islam. The move is aimed at raising awareness among the younger generation that may be duped into joining the extremists. Javed Rana reports from Islamabad.
