Japanese pray for business success in New Year

Thousands of people have queued at Tokyo's Kanda Myojin shrine to pray for good luck in business in the New Year.

Kanda Shrine is popular among employees and business owners, as it is dedicated to two of the Seven Lucky gods, Ebisu and Daikokuten, who are gods of good fortune and business respectively.
