Over 160 countries struggle to destroy landmines across world

20 years ago, an international treaty came into force to ban the use, production, stockpiling and transfer of anti-personnel mines. Today, more than 160 countries are parties to the convention and they’ve managed to destroy more than 51 million landmines. But the battle is far from over since there are still some major powers that have not ratified the treaty. From Vienna, Press TV’s Homa Lezgee reports.
