Iran’s Pars Jonoobi beach soccer team advances to Mundialito de Clubes 2017 final

Iranian beach soccer club Pars Jonoobi has managed to book a place in the final match of the Mundialito de Clubes 2017 in Brazil, after it achieved a decisive win over Brazilian side Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, commonly referred to as Flamengo.

On Saturday, Iranian side notched up a 6-4 victory at Vargem Grande Paulista in the southeastern Brazilian city of São Paulo, and found a way in the title game.

The Iranian beach soccer team is scheduled to play Russia's Lokomotiv Moscow in the final match, which will be held on Sunday.

Pars Jonoobi started its campaign at the Mundialito de Clubes 2017 with a narrow 6-7 defeat to Spanish futsal club Levante Unión Deportiva, before powering to an 8-4 win over Club Atlético Rosario Central of Argentina in the second fixture.
