Real Madrid have secured their spot in the FIFA Club World Cup final with a hard-fought 2-1 win over hosts Al Jazira of the UAE.
The home team’s Brazilian forward Romarinho shocked the Madrid fans after putting his side ahead in the 40th minute with a low shot. But, Los Blancos equalized when Cristiano Ronaldo smashed it in the 52nd minute.
Substitute Gareth Bale then handed Real Madrid the victory with eight minutes remaining as he met Lucas Vazquez's cutback to roll the ball into the bottom corner.
The Spanish giants will next take on South American champions Gremio of Brazil in the final on Sunday.
