Protests continue in the Muslim world against a recent decision by US President Donald Trump to designate Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel’s "capital."

Meanwhile, many are blaming the inaction of Muslim leaders toward a move that has already provoked an escalation of tensions between the Palestinians and the Israelis. To the same effect, speculations are rising that key Arab leaders had been informed about Trump’s move beforehand.

Georgia's former leader at heart of political chaos in Kiev

Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has recently fallen at the heart of Ukraine’s political scene. Saakashvili was an ally of Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko and had been appointed by him as the governor of Odessa. But relations between the two soured lately with the former Georgian leader now facing accusations of plotting with Russia to topple the government in Kiev.
