Iran’s Easy Pipe Kashan wins title at World Wrestling Cup

The Iranian Easy Pipe Kashan Wrestling Club has featured awe-inspiring performances at the fourth edition of Freestyle World Wrestling Clubs Cup to be crowned the champion of the prestigious international sports event.

On Friday evening, the Iranian squad defeated defending champion Titan Mercury Wrestling Club of the United States 6-4 in the title challenge, amid tumultuous applause from spectators at the packed Azadi Hall in western Iran.

Setaregan Sari Wrestling Club, also from the Islamic Republic of Iran, overwhelmed Mongolia’s Khimori 9-1 and finished in the third place.

The 2017 Freestyle World Wrestling Clubs Cup opened in the Iranian capital city of Tehran on December 7, and finished the following day.
