Catalonia firefighters urge release of activists
Catalonia firefighters have held a sit-in, calling for the release of separatist activists imprisoned by the Spanish government.
The move coincided with the 42nd anniversary of the death of the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco. It was also significant because it was held in Castell de Monjuic where former Catalan leader Lluis Companys, who had declared Catalonia's independence during Franco's rule, was executed by a firing squad in 1940.
