US taking sides with Israel against Palestinians: Pundit
An academic believes the United States’ plan to close down the Palestine Liberation Organization’s office in Washington is a “big step” to “pressurize” the Palestinians into not supporting the bid to prosecute Israeli officials at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
“As a matter of fact the Israeli [regime] is pressurizing the Americans all the time to take measures against the Palestinians and it is quite obvious now that the American administration, this new administration, the Trump administration, since the beginning of their term, they were very much in support of the Israeli regime and they are doing all their best in order to favor the Israeli atrocities even against the Palestinian people,” Saeed Nimer, professor of political science at Birzeit University, told Press TV in an interview on Sunday.
