Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich have extended their unbeaten start under Jupp Heynckes after defeating Augsburg 3-0 at the Allinaz Arena.
Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal opened the scoring for the defending champions in the 31st minute from close range.
Seven minutes later, he sent Robert Lewandowski through with a defense-splitting-pass to double the lead. The Poland striker scored again three minutes into the second half to take his league tally to 13 goals.
The Bavarians are now six points ahead of RB Leipzig, who drew 2-2 at Bayer Leverkusen.
