Cadet wrestlers from 10 foreign countries to participate in Day of Children bouts

The 20th edition of Freestyle & Greco-Roman Tournament “Day of Children” will kick off in Karaj, Iran, on November 21 and will conclude on November 25, 2017.

Dozens of cadet freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers from 10 different countries will be in attendance at the 20th edition of Freestyle & Greco-Roman Tournament “Day of Children”, which is scheduled to be held in Iran’s north central province of Alborz later this month.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Wrestling Federation (IRIWF) announced on Tuesday that athletes from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Romania, Tajikistan and Ukraine have already announced their willingness to take part in the tournament.

The 20th edition of Freestyle & Greco-Roman Tournament “Day of Children” will kick off at the multi-purpose Enghelab Stadium in Karaj, Iran, on November 21 and will conclude on November 25, 2017.

The tournament will be held in team dual system. The individual results of wrestlers in each weight category will be taken into account at the end of team dual competitions.

The number of victories of wrestlers will determine who must compete for the first to sixth places in each weight class.
