Iran’s Saipa vice champion in Asian Water Polo Clubs Championship

Iran’s Saipa Water Polo Club has brilliantly ended its campaign at the 11th edition of Asian Water Polo Clubs Championship, and ranked second overall at the end of the continental sports event.

On Saturday and the final day of the competitions in the in Thai capital city of Bangkok, the Kazakh outfit defeated a squad from the host nation, and clinched the title.

Saipa Water Polo Club trounced a team from South Korea 26-4, and finished second.

Additionally, the Islamic Azad University Water Polo Club, another Iranian team in the tournament, downed a Thai water polo team 18-6, and ranked third.
