Public anger raging in Manila ahead of Trump’s visit

People have staged rallies in the Philippines’ capital, Manila, to protest US President Donald Trump’s planned visit to the country.

Trump is due in Manila on the last leg of his Asia tour on Sunday. He will also be attending the three-day summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

The protesters scuffled with security forces in the Philippine capital.
