Myanmar State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi arrived in the Philippines on Saturday for the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and related meetings.
Suu Kyi will be attending the meetings where she is expected to face pressure from world leaders to resolved a crisis that has caused more than 600,000 Muslim ethnic Rohingya to flee Myanmar.
World leaders from the 10-member bloc will meet with counterparts from 11 countries during the two-day summit on November 13 and 14, including China, Japan and the United States.
