Delegates from almost 200 countries met in Bonn on Tuesday for the second day of the United Nations climate talks to find ways to strengthen the 2015 Paris climate agreement.

During the two-week conference, delegates will work on a detailed rule book for the Paris Climate Agreement and try to step up action before 2020.

Activists from Friends of the Earth, who staged a protest at the venue, did not think there was enough being done and called on developed countries to drastically reduce their emissions as quickly as possible.

Also at the venue, British artist Silas Birtwistle unveiled his Biomimic Tree to draw attention to the impact that climate change is having on rural communities in developing countries.
