Zare'ian claims title at Iran Squash Federation Peace & Friendship Cup
Junior Iranian squash player Sajjad Zare'ian has featured outstanding performances at the Iran Squash Federation Peace and Friendship Cup 2017, and been named the greatest athlete of the international event.
On Sunday and the final day of the tournament at Urmia Squash Center in the northwestern Iranian city of Urmia, Zare'ian could triumph over his Pakistani opponent Khawaja Adil Maqbool 3-2 in the final match.
The Iran Squash Federation Peace and Friendship Cup 2017 kicked on November 2, and wrapped up on November 5.
Deputy Iranian Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Mohammad Reza Davarzani, has meanwhile extended his warm congratulations to Zare'ian on the notable achievement.
