Russian air strikes hit Daesh targets in Bukamal

The Russian Ministry of Defense released footage of the Russian Air Force as it launched a massive air strike on targets of Daesh terrorists in the Syrian residential area of Bukamal, Friday.

At a press briefing, the Russian Defense Ministry`s spokesman said that the air strike from the Khmeimim Air Base inflicted a "devastating damage" to Daesh terrorists and their "fortified zones, arms and munitions warehouses, militant gatherings and important command points" in Bukamal.

The Ministry of Defence confirmed the use of Su-24 and Su-34 bombers and Su-30Sm, Su-35 and MiG-29 fighters in the air strike.

The Defense Ministry official had also pointed out in his statement that the Russian Air Force airstrike facilitated the Syrian troops' intensive offensive against the militants stronghold in the east of Syria.
