UEFA Champions League: Celtic 1-2 Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich have reached the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League for a 10th successive season after a 2-1 victory away against Celtic in Group B.
The Bundesliga champions were 3-nil winners when they met in Munich in the reverse match. They took the lead when Kingsley Coman opened the scoring after 22 minutes.
The home side started strongly in the second half and were rewarded by Callum McGregor's equalizer in the 74th minute.
The score was only level for 4 minutes, when Spaniard Javi Martinez headed home to seal the Bavarians’ qualification. Celtic are knocked out of the Champions League but well placed to seal a Europa League spot.
