A commentator says the United States has always rejected North Korea’s repeated efforts to find a diplomatic solution to the nuclear crisis because Washington does not want to “resolve” the ongoing tensions with Pyongyang.

“The US has exactly what it wants in North Korea – a justification for massive military presence in South Korea which becomes a platform for weapon systems and military bases, naval bases which really target Russia and China. That is the point here,” John Steppling told PressTV in an interview on Saturday.
