Bayern Munich have now registered three wins in a row under Jupp Heynckes, as they edge the home side Hamburg 1-0 to move level on points with Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table.

Hamburg's hopes were dented in the 39th minute when Gideon Jung was issued a straight red card for hacking down Kingsley Coman. But the first half finished scoreless.

France midfielder Corentin Tolisso then scored the only goal of the match in the 52nd minute at the Hamburg Arena to send the Bavarian giants above RB Leipzig with 20 points from 9 matches.
